My first sick day EVER

I am 26, and for the first time in my adult life, I took a sick day. I am actually not feeling well, but I feel guilty. At first, I did go in for an hour thinking the team was short handed today, turns out we aren't. I logged an hour of work and took 11 hours sick pay. If i felt alright, I would go to the beach. Since I dont feel well, what do you all do on sick days? Is jerry springer still on? maury has to still be on. There has to be some trashy daytime TV.
I some people save sick days for when they feel well. I am a bit of a workaholic though.

BTW when I'm on a sick day (which also doesn't happen), I use my time to learn some stuff or organize. But if you're really not feeling well to the point where you think activity might be detrimental, I'd suggest getting some serious dosage of sleep

My only sick day in the last 5 years was spent in bed - had a fever of 104, shakes and chills, slept 20 hours of the 24, wife thought I was going to end up in the hospital. Still not sure what I had but it was BAD.
Good luck Craig, don't feel too guilty - it happens, and we are not the types to abuse it so don't stress it. Relax and get the rest you need to not make it 2 days.
