Mine has been washed twice since I bought it (3 months ago?). Both times were because it had to go in to the dealer, and they always wash it when it's in.
Today, it rained, so it's a bit cleaner than it has been for the past week or two... !

My Ride: 08 550 Carbon Sport Almost everything factory, but no sound upgrades.
Today I finally vacuumed the cookie crumbs from the gap between the seat and the thigh support. Been there for five or four weeks now.

It's impossible to keep a car clean in NY, especially without a garage. And once the snow arrives and they salt the roads it'll be even worse. She was clean for a couple of days when I first picked her up and that was the end of it

Just took mine in for $12 job at the local car wash, because tomorrow I'm taking a long drive up to a relative's house for Christmas dinner. I'd hate to mention my new car, then have folks walk outside to see a 5-Series with the words "I wish my wife was this dirty" etched by a finger on the dust-covered rear window.

Well we don't get much rain here in SoCal, but wouldn't you know it, it ALWAYS rains after I wash our cars! 
I suppose its what I get for owning Sapphire Black BMW's and I guess the rain is MY fault too????
