Luckily it was the Toyota 4-Runner. Our third vehicle.

He rear ended our neighbor (16) who was sitting at a red light after being cut off in traffic.

I am so glad he wasn't even scratched and the neighbor wasn't hurt either.

This puts things into perspective. The 4 runner had 130,000 miles and never had anything fixed except a water pump.

Waiting for the estimate but it doesn't look good on fixing this.

It's always good to hear that after an accident the people are okay.

Glad everyone is okay. Cars can always be fixed or replaced. Kids are irreplaceable.

Boys are boys.

I'm happy that no one was injured.

You need to have a serious discussion...

Glad that no one was hurt, so it makes this an "inexpensive" lesson. This will make your son a better driver for the
future (not that he was a bad driver to begin with).

Time to give him your 550 and you can trade up to a M5.

If you do do that, can you be my father?

I'm glad he's okay. The title of this thread tricked me! I thought he totaled your car! Get him a prius!

He has now been informed to avert his eyes away from the 550 as he walks by it in the garage.
