We all know there are multiple BMW forums. I typically only come here and to bimmerfest.com. However, I have seen an increase of the exact same posts in multiple forums. Some recent posts are in 3 different forums... maybe more. e.g., 5series.net, bimmerfest.com & bimmerforums.com. I do not want to take traffic away from 5Series.net, however is one forum better than another for certain reasons/issues? Are there any other forums or sites where I should be wasting my time on?

I come on this forum because i think in the usa you take modding to the next level (in a good way) as us brits seem to be more conservative about styling.....Take the eyebrow mod for instance, (i have the LEDS)....also we have to deal with the crappy weather ruining our cars after we have spent all day washing and waxing which can be a bit disheartening at times.

This is my main forum because I love the layout, wealth of information, and helpful people, and its mostly for 5series. However I also visit mfest because they do it BIG and its like huge bmw community. Plus I dream of attending an mfest event someday, and it seems the e60 section has picked up a little since Chris started his Sabine build. So if you havent checked out mfest I suggest it, but for your 5er I think this is your best bet

I post here and on Bimmerfest. But my real friends are here and I have met and made many good friends here. This forum is unbeatable for modding and is a smaller and more tighter knit community. This is my BMW home. Bimmerfest has more posts on the F10 and on car buying/leasing than here. So I tend to post there on those topics.

I wish it were the way it used to be but the forum here is just so quiet these days. Most of the old regulars don't post here anymore, and it's just not the place it used to be. I'm spending much more time on another forum these days, and I wish it were like it used to be here. The glory days of the forum are, sadly, behind it. The F10 forum here is a proverbial ghost time. It's a real shame, as some of the smartest and most passionate five series owners used to call this place home.

+1..I would still consider this the best "5 series forum"
Even though it is much quieter than before the knowledge base is still incredible.
I only use the other forums to meet others in my area but always this is still home and the first place I go to share and find.

5series.net - Often imitated - Never duplicated.
