msn messenger installation for apple mac powerbook

can anybody show me how to install it properly to my powerbook? I tried to install it from msn's website for macs but did not work..

please advise kindly.

You might want to take a look at Adium which is a multi service IM application for OS X. It connects with most of the major IM services including MSN, Yahoo, AIM, Google Talk etc.

+1 for Adium it's the best working/looking IM app for OS X.

Mine looks like this (you can tweak the look as much as you want):
