Given all of the good input here, I ordered the Droid this morning. I get it in 2 days. Yet another "mod" that's a direct result of this board. I just got sick of scrolling, scrolling and scrolling and not being able to read some of the posts or look at many of the pics here on my BB Bold. After I use the Droid for a bit, I'll post what I think of it.

When will BB finally make a good web browser??

I wanna hear more reactions from Droid owners. Let's hear all the good and bad. I've heard that the camera isn't up to much, but show me a camera on a phone that is good. The one on my Nokia N95 is reputedly one of the best but it's not all that good.

Come to think of it, I better check with Verizon on that.

Edit: I did check and as expected, there is a catch. It only applies if you are adding a second number to your wireless account or if you already have a second number on your account and that number is eligible for an upgrade.

Did you make sure that the Droid is compatible with the E60? The iPhone is certified to work with the E60. I, too, used to be a loyal Verizon customer who made the switch to AT&T solely for the iPhone. I can tell you that I get better coverage on my commuter route than Verizon. I drive across a couple of tony towns that limit their cell towers and while it was impossible to make or receive any call on Verizon, it is now no big deal making those calls on AT&T.

The iPhone is superior just for the extensive variety of free apps. I'll never get anything else...

Yes I did check if the Motorola Drois is compatible with the E60. A number of members have it and have been able to pair it and work it with the E60.

Maybe, but if it isn't listed on the official BMW list, they will use that as an excuse not to help you if you fry your iDrive. I'm just saying....
