I am seriously considering enrolling and then moving on to the Advanced M School - Virginia International Raceway later in the year.
Has any one attend the M schools and would you guys recommend it?

Two-Day M School
Taking car control to a higher level, the M School is a two-day program.
The first day puts an emphasis on developing elementary high-performance driving capabilities by demanding precision and skill refinement. Exercises will take place on the slalom, autocross, wet skidpad and the Real Roads Course.
The second day challenges you to be more assertive, to really grab a hold of an M car and put it through its paces. The car is up to it. Are you? Here, we add advanced driving techniques, like trail-braking, and demand better cornering transitions.
Turning up the intensity, you'll be put on the High Speed Advanced Road Course, Figure 8 Wet Skidpad and Wet Handling Road Course where you will experience more extreme driving demands than you possibly could on any public road.
Cost: $3,295

I love to do this a well.
I don't think they have the M schools for the public in HK but I know if you own a M car they will let you sign up for a drive in China.
