My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Default

So lately my wife and I have been seeking to get rid of her SUV (Subaru B9 Tribeca) for something with as much comfort but better gas mileage. The Subie was loaded, every option but rear seat entertainment was there so I didn't want to downgrade her and get some econobox. I started looking at the MB E350 and getting quotes found a few 08-09 ones in the mid $30's, which for me was perfect, nice and new enough and yet still cheap enough it wasn't even a stretch to consider.
Then my wife saw the Honda clearance thing. We asked for quotes and Saturday we picked up a 2010 Honda Accord with every conceivable option and 4 miles on it - for $25k!!!! So in the matter of a few minutes she saved me more than $10k on one deal
When in doubt, marry a cheapass. I get on her sometimes about her spendthrift ways (and the fact that she's making me one too), but dammit she's going to make us rich someday.
Just wanted to share.

+1000000 ... My wife is the same way. She would rather hold on to her car and trade my e60 to get a bigger SUV because her Civic is already paid off and does not want another car payment.

She is, we've been married more than 5 years, and no plans to change that.
(I thought about the extra $$$$ for mods too )

LOL somehow I doubt it, I once asked her if she wanted an expensive purse and she said she'd kill me if I spent that much on a "stupid bag"
