If the rumors about Alonso trying to blackmail Mclaren and Ron Dennis are true, then he will have no credibility in the F1 garage ever again. These allegations are almost crazier than the $100 million fine. Supposedly he tried to blackmail Mclaren into making him the head driver, he even went as far to try and make Mclaren release Hamilton. I knew Alonso was arrogant, but this is crossing the line.
Right after this, Flavio Briatore was in contact with Alonso, and it seems he will drive for Renault next year.
This guy shouldn't be a F1 driver.
OTH Ron Dennis shouldn't be in F1 either...

A pair of days ago Alonso offered GBP 650 to every mechanic to win the championship over Hamilton

That depends on the point of view. From my point of view he is great, because he is much better than I am.

Side not: How much Ferrari tech. do you guys think is really on the Mclaren cars? Just interested in what you guys think. From what I have read they didn't recieve that data until at least two races into this season. The 2007 Mclaren car was developed way before the season started. Mclaren was 2nd & 3rd in race one and 1st & 2nd in race two, all before they recieved this data.

It's not about how much Ferrari tech is on their cars, it's about what they knew about Ferrari's cars.
Knowing all details helps you in analyzing, so you don't need to find everything out yourself. So, in fact, McLaren had FOUR cars in the race to monitor.
I don't think they really used Ferrari stuff, but the data they had access to have given them a huge advantage and they could easily step up and compete with Ferrari, now that they kknew all little details.
Sometimes small things help more than big things.
All I say is: New England Patriots.
