Now, I'm asking you, how loyal do you have to be to VTEC to import and legalize a civic from Japan? Do you think he did a reverse conversion (like they do in the EU with UK cars) or what??? HOw much do you think this would cost? I'm still somewhat puzzled.
My guess would be a conversion.. Ive knew a kid who did it to a WRX back when they were first released in the US, prior to the STI. No idea how much it would cost.. Either way it is MAD JDM!! haha

Dude this car is LAME!!!

It's got a Subaru hood scoop on a puny i4 vtec!...

It is possible to buy a JDM front clip and have it weld on to your USDM civic's firewall to make it right hand drive too.

if his engines stickin out like that, I'm pretty sure he swapped engines... can't imagine putting that much power into a civic...

Oh I see what he did. I thought it was a hoodscoop at first, but after careful evaluation it looks like he got the B20 block (CR-V) and mounted a B series head to it with a block extender thus making the engine pop out like that. It looks ridiculous son!

Being That JDM is my original roots before i came n to the bmw euro scene 1st with my audi B6 and now the E60, I have to say that this car is ok... its not anything special.. I still own my 92 integra fully built with every Jdm item you can have with the exeption of the RHD conversion.

The engine sticking out is plain stupid.. most people where im from dont want anyone to know what you have under the hood.. here in south fl you see RHD civics integras, s2k's all the time.. there are shops here that do the conversion for about 1k assuming you already have the front clip from the JDM car which you can get for about 3,4, or 5k depending on what car it is and the engine.. this guys seems like he's trying too hard.. and thats when some kids cant tell the difference from JDM and RICE.. yes he has a couple jdm things, but his set up still yells RICE.. with the engine sticing out.. to each his own.. he'res a cuple of my jdm toy that just sits now trying not to get stolen..

maybe so lol, but one thing to consider most kids in the JDM demographic are caught up in the scene and even though they spend about 700 to 900 a month either modding or saving for a mod for thier machine they are not in the position to get financing for a 25k to 50k bmw or luxury vehichle.. so the only thing left is play the hand your dealt..

Lord knows if i was able to get financing and didnt need credit i would have been the 1st to get the e60 M5 when it came out!!
cause living at home and basically 85% disposable income i would have been able to afford it..but i guess the jdm thing is cool its just a stage but some grow out of it to other things...
