So, yesterday I'm cruising peacefully on my way to the Rutgers game when all of a sudden I hear soem serious exhaust sound, sounded like a typical riced out Civic , just a little deeper. Sure enough, a few cars ahead of me I see the suspect - a blue civic with the wonderful license plate of "MAD JDM". I know 99% of you are thinking that you know where this is going, but you're WRONG.
So, the Civic keeps rolling, windows down and what I thought two teenage kids in it. I catch up with it and start taking pictures with my blackberry... All of a sudden something doesn't feel and look right... Yeah, there was only ONE kid and he was obviously sitting on the wrong side of the car... Now I'm curious and start taking more pictures... Interesting. The car has a lot of stuff done to it (obviously) and this turned out to be my first encounter with a civic SI driver who is not a poser.
Now, I'm asking you, how loyal do you have to be to VTEC to import and legalize a civic from Japan? Do you think he did a reverse conversion (like they do in the EU with UK cars) or what??? HOw much do you think this would cost? I'm still somewhat puzzled.

Even though it is a civic, I have to admit, he tried and managed to put a decent car on the road. Considering the other civics with fart cans, this one at least isn't poser.

Clean civic, nice change after all the ricers I see around here. I dig the blue, is his engine sticking out of the hood?

not bad at all id say for a right side drive civic in the usa it is in the $10-15K BRACKET depending on what engine swap he has and what not the kid was probably heading to englishtown track for a few runs.
