Just like Porsche had to build the Cayenne, so they could really put the development $$$ to make the different 911s, Lotus is making the Evora so that they can push the envelope with the Elise. I like this car quite a bit, especially because its more of an all around car rather than just a weekend/track car like the Elise is.

There's also an option to remove the back seats if you want for more cargo space +less weight in the car.
