Racing this car in my Home Theather is a great experience. The sound of this puppy is intoxicating![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
Sorry for the crappy pictures.

Prologue, the full version will come out Feb 2010.
Sorry Scott
The price of car (in the game) is $326,000
. That was the price of my first house back in 1998
Sorry Scott

One day I'll be able to afford it. That day just has not arrived yet.
It'd never happen though. My price-no-object car would be a 997 Turbo Cabriolet. The difference in performance (power and handling) that the 599 has over the 997T is something that I'm not talented enough to exploit

But would you actually pull the trigger and buy it? I could technically afford it but I'd have no money in the bank left after I did it, so there's no way I'd even consider it. How many millions would you need in the bank so that you'd actually really buy a 599. I wouldn't do it unless I was sitting on at least 20 mill. That'd be my comfort point at which I'd think buying a $300k car is comfortable.

I wouldn't get close to the 997T's limits.

The 997 Turbo Cab is also an awesome car.

I don't feel like I'd need a $20 million cushion to buy a $300K car. To me a $20 million fortune is airplane or serious yacht money. Cars, even the 599, are a heck of a lot cheaper than that.

For me though, the only way I'd consider spending that amount of money on a car, would be if it was (relatively speaking) a fairly trivial amount compared to my net worth. Spending more than a year's salary for example on a car is crazy personified. People who do that are on their way to retiring at 70 rather than early. For the 997Tc I wouldn't buy it unless I had something like $5 mill sitting in an account doing nothing (and I don't yet).
Saying all that, back to the topic, the 599 is an awesome car
