I am a big fan of your work and I certainly love this photo (what's not to like?) but it is kind of surreal. Look at the scenario....... A hot girl wearing short shorts is compelled to take off her top and then look in the engine compartment of an M3. What is she thinking in this photo???? Possibly: "I wonder how much added horse power they get with those cold air intakes?" It's just kind of silly. Yep I love it - but still silly.
That much said - keep 'em coming!

As always good shots! Quick photog question, I just picked up a set of bees (2 400's, large softbox, stripbox and some umbrellas) and I was curious do you use a light meter or did you use one when you started?
I am having a helva time figuring out this strobe thing.... natural light with fast glass is soooooo much easier.

but to answer your question, occasionally use a light meter when the lighting and distances change.

yeah i got the 400's for a steal 500 bucks with a couple of couple of boxes, umbrellas, 4 stands, booms, case and grids/honey combs, it all priced out at about 1200 bucks on alienbee's site.
I got this set because my wife volunteered me to shoot a friends wedding so i want to use it to set up a little studio on site just in case the light doesn't work in my favor i can at least have good portraits.
I'll try it out on cars sometime and if i can't get it to work i'll go ahead and get a set of the 1600's
but first i need to learn how to use these!
