Talking about a strange lounge subject

I can buy a new jacuzzi steambath for my new house. It is a showroom model and I can get 50% discount.

I've searched everywhere for info but cannot find anything. We stumbled in this combo in a dealership and we are now thinking about changing from a separate whirlpool bath and shower to this baby.

Maybe someone knows this model or has it and can help me out with some more info!

See picture attached for the model. It is a Jacuzzi A-818.

TIA

I did but the model I am getting the deal on isn't on the website so I think it is an old model.

Thanks for looking Ultra.. You're a great guy! I really appreciate it.

Dennis, keep in mind that with the hard water (high amounts of calcium) in the west of holland, these things only work for a year or two. After that, all the little holes are blocked.
Check with the supplier about removing limescale/calcium (kalkaanslag) before you buy.
Maybe you need to install a water softener aswell.

Someone up my street installed one for a lot of money and it is useless now.

Just a tip..

It's funny. I was going to make some sort of joke about USA/Europe differences (like we have with our cars) between Jacuzzis because I figured water is water.

Now Fred comes along and actually makes a good point and he's not joking!

He really isn't joking!

I always find the tast of water funny when I am in The States, because there is chlorine in it. We only have chlorine in our public swimmingpools, not in the drinking water.
But our water is really hard because of the high amount of limestone in it.

Thanks fred.. this is some really great info. I'm gonna ask the dealer what we can do about the kalkaanslag.. the thing is a showroommodel and I already noticed som calcium on the little holes from the shower..

Your advice is really appreciated.. This tub does clean itself (it says in the brochure) So I'll ask if I need to ad some stuff to keep the calcium away.
