I just had a thought whilst reading another thread on autobahn driving. If we had the same road systems as they do in Germany would the UK build great quality fast everyday cars like our German collegues? I know we can build great sports cars but what about BMW quality stuff. I don't want to drive at 155mph in a Rover 75! What the fu*ks that all about. I need to concentrate without disturbances. I don't want the dash to fall to pieces during the run nor the car to be worth ?1,000 less after 10 miles.

I saw a nice serie about the concord on the discovery channel (this morning). It's a shame it doesn't fly anymore.. In 3,5 hrs to New York City.. Wow!
