I came across a Hummer H3 that a friend of mine was selling, 9k on the clock, 2007 model. In Taiwan, they go for around 100k and he was selling it for about 40k. Well, I bought it.

Dunno why... I guess I kept wanting to buy something... either a new bike or something different and this showed up.

Shows how much of an environmentalist I am but I do like it out of the city on the weekends!

EDIT: Just did a search to see if anyone else owned a Hummer on the forum and came across a remark that I made some months ago regarding parking: link

hehehehe

Time for some new rims me thinks Mike......

Congratulations on the purchase. I've always wanted to drive one of them but never had the opportunity. Let us know how it is as you start to live with it.

Congrats on the new purchase, I think

J/K -- you have an LCI 520d with Efficient Dynamics, you're already saving the planet

You've been here long enough to know better, so you brought this upon yourself ....

Good thing about a 4WD / SUV is that you can park anywhere, so you should be just fine

Remember this photo posted by MarcsOnFire a while back... just make sure its not your car underneath!!

hehehe... yeah, seems I had it in the back of my mind even months ago.

They've lost their resell value due to the gas price hike some time ago and are available really cheap here.... So anyways, yeah... I'll drive it around and decide if I want to sell it next spring or not...

and pics, sure, tomorrow i'll post some!
