My Ride: 2011, E90 M3 Sedan. Alpine White.Competition package, Keyhole cover, fender reflectors in Alpine white, RPI Exhaust, 19
okay.. well i want to vent.. so here goes.. i get my aunt to watch my boys this weekend.. my cousin wanted to take my big one canoeing.. etc. so she takes them both gives me the weekend free.. so being that its the first weekend where its not raining like a monsoon.. we decide to take the boat to poinbt pleasant with friends on there boat too.. i figure a nice ride down to manasquan, beach and tiki bar all day, dinner.. then more drinking and whatever else.. im told to get down to the boat early sat morning so we all leave early (10 am). so im shot, (no kids mind you so i wanna sleep a little, but whatever) i get there at 10.. my friends who rushed me arent there yet(im pissed).. IM WASTING VALUABLE DRINKING AND SUN TIME!!! LOL.. they finally arrive like after 11.. we leave, my boat first and after a few minutes i dont see my friends boat..(identical to mine).. we get a call to come back that he has an engine problem! ( WE HAVE DIESELS WE DONT GET ENGINE PROBLEMS!) anyway.. turns out as he pulled out of the slip, his shaft snapped!! the propellor flew off.. and hes fu&^*(d to put it nicely.. (im crying inside now looking at joe and he knows, feels it too)
so we go back. sit at the marina for what seems like over another HOUR!!! SUN TIME!!! finally they decide to come with us on our boat. sleep with us which is fine with me i dont give a shit i just want to get the hell out of here!!!!
finally we get to point pleasant, it was a beautiful flat ride, the sun was out ( a miracle in itself lately) and we head to tiki bar by cab and plan to meet up with some friends that i met in aruba that live in point pleasant and were actually so bombed when we arrived she fell into the water at her marina...it was funny..
so were at the tiki bar.. it looks like a meat market with steriod filled men ( a sausage fest as me and my girlfriend called it) and were drinking our asses off in the hot ass sun and low and behold a seagull shits on me and my girlfriends head!!!
how funny is that crap.. not only are we bombed, in our bikini's and trying to relax after all the chaos, but we got shit on..!!! lmfao black bird shit all clumped up too!!
joe and mike start laughing so hard they nearly fell off the chairs.. thank god everyone else was too drunk to notice, but i thought that it was funny and was a good laugh to all the bullsh^* that happened to us earlier as all we did was try so hard to have a fun weekend.. oh well.. what can you do right? everyone kept saying it was good luck and maybe it is.. i have yet to find out... hope everyone elses weekend was fun and exciting..
ill have pics up from fourth of july as that should be a boating adventure as well.. it is every single year.. what is everyone doing for the 4th??

Victor and I will probably go twisty running on Pa State Route 125 (perhaps with V_therussian) one day over the weekend and chill the other days. Maybe I will take him to Great Adventure.

Ahhh, the Tiki Bar. Brings back good memories. I grew up in the area and worked in Manasquan summers while in high school. Spent a lot of time in Leggits's Sand Bar in Manasquan, which was right across the street from where I worked.

Funny story Mel. Something usually screws up a boating /fishing trip turning them into "funny adventures", which are funny when relived at the dock. Don't buy power ball tix just yet. I was shat on by a pigeon in Atlantic City front of the TAJ, thinking this was an omen from the Gods of chance I went to the casino and promptly lost all my money. My wife turned into a whirling dervish and ragged on the whole ride back to Ct. Funny now,not then.
