It's kinda strange that more and more young people seems to meet here..
compared to Germany, where young people drive cheaper cars..hm..maybe the states are richer than us

I was wondering that too. My only thoughts, are, (and I don't mean ANY offence by this whatsoever), that their parent's have either bought them for them, and wanted a safe big car, or they are driving their parent's cars maybe? Obviously, the 5er is a great car, and therefore there is every chance that they like them and prefer them to the 1 or 3 series, but for a 16-21 year old, surely a 1 or 3 series is a more preferable choice.
