I'm just curious to know what category you're in...

1. Software Engineer
2. Network Engineer
3. Systems Analyst
4. Systems Administrator
5. Computer Engineer (which is all of the above)

I am but not in one of the above categories (#5 is too general)... it's classified.

#5 for the most part - but there's also DB designer/administrator, application programmer, and systems trainer :D

I've got 25 years in the industry and have to say nearly all the above. 1 year in computer operations, about 15 years in mainframe system admin including software engineering and as a DBA (although all with a title of systems engineer), about 5 years in UNIX system admin, 1+ in SAN admin, and the last 3 years as a SAN/UNIX architect, ie design or planning.
