Note you have no NAV. Me too! Phone either! I bought mine 6 months old and the owner from new spent ?12K on accessories and didn't fit nav or phone! What was he thinking?!

Still, if you have a PDA (iPAQ, XDA or similar), I just bought a GPS receiver from eBay for ?34 and, when coupled with TomTom Navigator 3, it works just fine.

Sure, I'd rather have the original BMW Professional fit but, in my opnion, the PDA nav is actually better than the BMW Business Nav.

Well, even when I was in Southend (worked at the airport for World Aviation Support, formerly known as British Air Ferries), I lived in Cambridge.

I know live and work in Surrey not too far from Heathrow.

Cambridge to Southend... quite a daily commute. My first decent run in the car was at the weekend to Peterborough

Hi Mart
Ref Nav , I agree - my neighbour reckons the Nav on his Merc E 350 is crap and always gives duff routes. I hear the BMW database can give poor results too wheras those on Porsche and Jaguar for example work really well.

If I ordered a new car it would have dynamic drive AS (and possibly nav for the resale point of vies)
PS Southend - now LHR are you a pilot too?

I used to do 1000 miles a week just to work and back. Peterborough eh? What took you there?
