my neighbor's wife used to drive an X5 - but traded it in on an e60. but the other 5 people I konw with an e60 are men.

I would agree that there are not many female 560 drivers who are on the boards. However there are probably a lot of female E60 drivers. Count my wife as one. She just traded her Boxter S for a 2005 545i. After many years in Porsche cars she decided that she needed a daily driver with more room and convienence. We tested a great many cars and the only one we found that offered her the sporty feel, power, quality and features she wanted to was the BMW. Had the car only one week but she loves it. There are a some great female drivers and car enthusiast out there. We have a 2004 Porsche GT3 as our third car and my wife drives the wheels off of it. She has 4 autocross championships (competing against all men) to her name and is currently chief driving instructor for the PCA San Diego region. One of my previous wives was also a great driver and even did a year driving in ALMS. Having a wife that shares your love of cars and driving makes it easier for us car guys.

On my way to work (87 from South San Jose to North First St), I often see this pretty girl/lady driving a silver 545 with some really deep dish rims. My guess is that it's probably her car but that her boyfriend/husband put the rims on. Wonder if she's a member on this forum.

That's *MY* E60 and *MY* Girlfriend you're talking about!!!
Just kidding. I think I've seen the same car on 101 near the Montague exit. I have (as I'm sure most of us have) this habit of spotting out E60's and then trying to find out who's driving. There's only been 3 occurences where I've seen a female E60 driver, and on one of these instances I believe her boyfriend/husband was on the passenger seat so I didn't want to stare too long and get him pissed off!
