.....So how did everyone find out about the site... I found out through google.....
The Roadfly E60 board had always been a very hostile place where trolls, some E39 owners, and self proclaimed "design industry experts" were lurking all the time and bashing the E60 and those who liked the E60. Out of all the posts on RF there may have been 10 or 15% legit discussion of and questions on the E60, the rest was all trolling and bashing. After more than a year of this finally some of us got tired of it and joined a mass exodus from Roadfly to here arranged/encouraged by Rudy in May 2004. Most of us had been members on das's board before that date (me personally since Sep. 2003), and liked the civil atmosphere here, but kept going on RF as well because this board was too slow and there wasn't much happening on a daily basis.
After the organized exodus from RF this site started to pick up and in the summer of 2004 Lomag updated the site and changed the name to E60.net...........and that in a nutshell is how many of us old timers/RF converts got here.

Didn't read this site before buying this car as I know I want this car regardless but waiting for a good deal to come by and when they lauched the 523i, my intention of getting the car is bigger and when BMWHK announce they have a promotion, I am a happy owner of an E60.
Was browsing on the web for some wheels and accessory and came across this site. I say I just got lucky.
