The problem for you is the timing of your order. Typically the factory shuts in August, restarting in September. This is adding to the time for delivery. My 545 took just about two months from order to delivery. The 550 I got quicker because they found one already on a boat headed to the states that I could acquire...
Even the people at BMW Korea told me that I ordered the car at an odd time. All I can do is wait impatiently...

Ordered my car, just on 5 weeks later I drove it away from the dealer. Also changed the config a little before delivery too.

I was told it would be 8-10 weeks, but it made it to an earlier slot.

With my 2004 car, I ordered it in November of 2003 but had to wait until April 2004 for delivery. Back in late 2003, if you wanted HUD or SMG, you had to wait until Feb 2004 production. Then, around February 2004, they delayed the availability of SMG a little bit so my production date kept bouncing until early March 2004. To make things worse, I chose to do a performance center delivery which adds even more time to the mix!

On my 2008 car, I can't remember the exact month I ordered the car but I think it was around February or March of 2007. Because I wanted the sport automatic, I had to wait until June 2007 production. My car arrived at the dealership in July 2007...
