That cover image could have been created so much cheaper by using Shake or Flame!!!

The video looks pretty good. It might just be true. The cost of producing the CGI may be more than the value of the car.

It's not unusual for popular magazines to spend upwards of GBP 60K for an important cover shoot and feature. They may also have got a car from Audi UK at a decent price, could have been a cosmetically repaired write-off.

You guys have it all wrong. The photo is a real shot of a scale diecast toy actually put in a water. Then super impose with the model also actually in water. I knew a photographer that did this trick for a liiving. The cost of the detailed diecast 1/18 (usually on around $100 less) is used.

You knew somebody who's main living income was taking photographs of scale diecast toys under water, and then superimposing a picture of a model on to it. Personally, I can't see much of a demand for that kind of photo?!
