Now that may be at the heart of the real issue, and perhaps deserves more serious thought and debate as to why our "public" education system suxxx so bad...I'm lucky I guess since I was allowed a Parochial education thanks to my parents hard work. I never knew there was such an issue as I was never exposed to the public school system at large...perhaps if education and labor movements were not so intertwined, there would be a better way forward...all I know is that the country as a whole sure does seem uneducated as compared to the rest of the world, and I think that the system is part of the issue, but ofcourse parents and students also share the blame...(But we must admit there sure are SOME pus*ies in europe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Agreed, I was spared public school thanks to my parents (although I didn't appreciate it at the time, all I knew was that my friends didn't have to wear a uniform ).

Apparently so, we had actual countries on ours, and we actually took a CLASS on Geography - amazing isn't it?
