Well today was a little scary. I'm not sure if you guys like hot foods but I like to try different sauces as well as a buddy of mine at work. I located some hot sauce that I wanted to get at a store locally. I decided to buy it to try.

First off let me tell you to stay far away from this shit. When I got it I tried a very small portion. It was pretty hot but it mostly hurt in your stomach. It is the hotest sauce they make and is 800x hotter then a jalepeno. I brought it into work for a couple of people to try. Most of the guys on my team tried a extremely small portion. Just a drop on a cracker, my buddy tried it two times yesterday and said he liked it. Well being friday he likes to do food challenges for bets, usually $5. This can include eating a variety of things, habenero powder etc. So today he asked how much would he get for eating a spoon of the hot sauce. The pool of money got up to $20 and as soon as he saw the money he filled a spoon and he downed it without any hesitation. The sauce itself that hot to the tongue, after about 5 minutes his ears were red, he was still fine joking around, we were talking for about 10 minutes. He left to go home and came back threw his glasses off and started screaming. Hes a pretty funny guy so we all assumed he was joking. We asked if he was all right, and he was not joking, he was freaking out screaming on the floor in pain. He looked like he was dying, hes a tough guy and he was screaming call a ambulance. Getting up seemed to make it worse because of the acid in his stomach I'm assuming. We gave him milk but that did nothing. We ended up having to call a ambulance to our office over the hot sauce. We had no idea it would have that effect even though it was a spoonful of this crazy shit. It was pretty scary, but he is out of the hospital now and was banned by his wife from doing these challenges. I don't recommend the stuff to ANYONE. The hospital he went to is about 1 minute away from the place Adam from Man vs Food ate the infamous 4hourseman burger. Its the hotest burger in the world. The burger contains 4 of these ghost chillies including habenero sauce.
I honestly don't know how someone can finish it only 4 or 5 have completed it. The hospital asked my buddy if he had this burger because they have people come into the hospital with the excruciating pain almost daily.

What part of "Ultra Death Sauce" with a skull on the label left you unsure of the consequences?

Don't forget about the "world famous dangling skull" that was included in the box! Phil, the least you could do is let the guy that ate the stuff keep that as a small memento...

With the temperature here in single digits we've been looking for an anti-gelling additive for our diesel. Thanks for the tip, Phil!

What a surreal scene it must have been. My first reaction was to laugh out loud.....I imagine one my my co-workers running into the office screaming after eating some hot sauce - amongst the friends it would have been funny. Then the realization sinks in. For someone to be in that much internal pain is pretty serious.

Glad to hear he is ok.
