My Ride: 2007 530i. Purchased 6/28/07. Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Good lord... I was flipping through channels last night and Ashton and Puff Daddy were on Larry King talking about Twitter. Jimmy Fallon was on via sat. Oprah came up as a topic, but I don't know if they mentioned this or not.
Aside from the usual banality Larry King tends to offer, I found it kind of hilarious that that collection of mouth-breathers decided they needed a national forum to tell the public how the Internet is going to change things. Twitter is still fucking "poor man's email"...

They also missed the -real- story that is happening in conjunction with Ashton's race to the top of Twitter. There's a cabal of sorts (4chan) who control basically all online rating. They are gaming the system, and if they had started just a bit earlier - they would have beaten Ashton and CNN to 1Million. The Twitter account they registered to compete? "Basement Dad"... as in, the guy in Germany. Yeah. Sick sense of humor.

Just check out Time's most influential people... moot is #1 (4chan's founder), and the first letters of the first 18 names spell out something interesting.... by design. The letters have shifted a bit, but it had read: "Marblecat also a game" - referencing the recent DDoS against Church of Scientology.
You can see that they're still very close with only a few letters transposed:
