hi guys! so I am trying to sell my two jeeps, so I can replace them w/ a e60 but I'm having some problems selling them. The problem is they are EXTREMELY modded. I was wondering where you guys who have sold cars to the general public had the best success? My problem is its a very specific niche that will buy my cars, the are pretty much good for four wheeling only. I have had them listed for 4 months on four jeep forums, and on criaglist in the 3 major cities in CA. Any suggestions would be great. thank you!

Maybe you can sell the parts individually and then sell your car back as stock...

yea I am doing that with one of the jeeps, the other one (where I will get the bulk of my money for the BMW) is too modified to do that. it would cost over $10k in labor just to have all the suspension set up like stock again : / thanks for the tip though, i guess i'll just keep hoping someone will buy it. I have tons of intrest just no one willing to fork up the $$

Unfortunately it's a well known fact that modding a car should be for personal use/gain only, and never for financial gain. You will never get the money back you put in to a car when you sell it. People who like modded cars will buy a stock car and mod it the way they want it done, they won't buy a pre modded car for the cost of the car + cost of the mods.
I'm afraid you'll most likely find that you'll only get the same price as if it wasn't modded at all. Infact, in some cases, a moded car will actually be worth less in the used car market than a stock model.

Ask ACS5ER how to do it. He seems to be an expert at it!
