Help me decide... return my Kindle or keep it?

I just got a Kindle last week, knowing that a new one might be around the corner. In the last day or so, pictures and details have emerged showing the next iteration.

The old one is on the left... personally I think it seems better than the new one. Also, the new one doesn't have an SD card slot. I think removal of the slot is a negative.
I got one of these for my mom for Mother's Day, and I finally bit and got myself one. It's phenomenal. It has basic Internet access, and it can display maps, etc...
Anyone have any opinions?
