Toyota MR2 Spyder.
It has only 1.8 liter engine.
Can go about 40 mpg.
Reliable (not included on the recent recalls I believe).
Cheap to maintain. It's top down, rear-drive, mid-engined.
I'm thinking of getting one. I've seen a bunch that have around 40K miles on the clock for $8K.

Possibly 02 Boxter but prefer the "S" version...I would definitely consider that car as a car with style. As for reliability, didn't have that much problem when I owned it until when the kids arrived but eventually will get another one.

My Ride: 2004 jet black 530I, M-tech body kit, ac shnitzer roof and trunk spoiler. kelleners sport exhaust and pully kit on its way from germany.
I would get a Scion Xb. they are very reliable and good on gas. Plus they have alot of room.
