Captured, and in prison for a while would be better, since they would still be alive.

You guys see the pix of the two burglars? They looked pretty innocent. I can't picture them breaking the law.

I say no loss to society or the world ... but I am sure we will agree to disagree on that!
In your eyes it's no loss. But they have the right to live, just as you do.
Even a murder has the right to live, but there I would immediately agree it wouldn't be a loss for the society.

Here is an update. This case was settled today:
A Harris County grand jury decided today that Joe Horn should not be charged with a crime for fatally shooting two suspected burglars he confronted outside his neighbor's home in Pasadena last fall.

I just saw that on the news this morning!
Also some guy here in San Antonio shot an intruder and they interviewed the officers.
The officers just laughed and said he tried to rob the wrong house.
The reporter later said the robber is probably going to be paralyzed for life and prosecuted
Gets what he deserves.
I love Texas! I sleep with my 12 gauge under my bed

I have relatives in Texas, and it's simply a different world there!! An uncle of mine once told me a story of a man up for murder who when asked if he was guilty or not guilty, stated "Your Honor, I am not guilty", he went on to add "That man NEEDED killin'!!" and he meant it as a fact, not trying to be funny or anything!! Like I said, A DIFFERENT WORLD!!!

Well parts of Texas, really are a different world. As for Houston and some of its surrounding areas, its pretty much like every other metropolitan. I think a case like this Joe Horn guy, he was a veteran who IMO reacted as an old Texas veteran would have...This is the south we're talking about here and although you may be able to take the boy out of the country, you can't always take the country out of the boy.
