No, Schumi belongs in the top 10.

Other question: how many of those 100 guys were killed in a race/training crash?

I think (counted fast) almost 20 of them.

IMO the driver that is lucky enough to be in the right seat at the right time will go the furthest in F1....just depends on which manufacturer/team has the hot ride each season. Just an observation, but it doesn't seem like every team has an equal shot at winning be it a race or a championship no matter who sits behind the wheel.
Thats why I like to rank drivers by talent rather than stats.

It is hard to argue against Senna as one of most talented drivers ever.

dont forget in the old days the safty were not the great so they die much more easy.
I it hard for a F1 driver to die these days
