got it.

can you just have any cop sign off on it? that is pretty cool. What happens if you get ticketed again later that day? just playing devil's advocate now.
Pretty much as long as their cool with it....If you get caught again, I'm not sure if its a fix it ticket again or just a straight fine....

i've had LAPD and Sheriff sign it off for me. as far as getting stopped about the tint again, i've just showed them the fix it....and they've said ok, get that taken care of.

I know if a ticket was signed off, and another ticket was issued the same day, i sure as hell would want to speak to the officer who signed off on the first one. If i was a cop in a supervisory position of course.

that doesn't fly here in CA.

no stickers, but you can get a document stating you need window tint for an "eye condition".

This is interesting. Do you know any ophthalmologists (eye doctors0 who can write some paper like that?

Thanks for your inputs guys.. I also first thought like craigm1... that it's not easy to cheat on this, but...

you all gave me an idea. what if i got it signed(myself) and then turn in into the window? will they ever check the signature? last time i got a fx a ticket for no lic plate and then cop signed, i should have kept a copy..

I'd give up if it were me. I'd accept that I'm going to be hassled forever on it and want an easy life. So if that means detinting just the front windows, or detinting them all, I'd just do it. Who needs the hassle.
