My Ride: A Car
I was driving my Audi Allroad. I forgot the title at the dealership and I hope they have mailed it. Gotta call them next week to make sure they mailed it. However, I have a 30-day temp. So I was in Flushing looking for a parking spot and was stuck in traffic. Cops were behind me and walked out and closely examined my temp plate. Then they are VERY VERY polite.
Cop - Hi sir, may I please see the paperwork for this vehicle?
Me - Sure, no problem.
Cop - Can you also make a right turn so we don't block the traffic on the street?
Me - Okay, see you around the corner.
Then I saw him made a few phone calls to make sure everything is legit I guess. Then walks back.
Cop - Thank you very much for your cooperation. Just need to make sure everything is in good order.
Me - Thanks and have a good day.
I guess they want to make sure it's not a phony temp plate.

I once got pulled over in Queens when I had a temp tag. Cop told me that he pulled me over because of the temp tag because it increases the odds that it's a stolen car.
