That's pretty good, right? Total deformation of the engine compartment and frame forward of the firewall, but pretty well preserved passenger compartment.

I think I'm hoping that with a seat belt, I don't go that deep into my airbag - but it looks like the seatbelt might be buckled...hmmm

And the pesky gas cap cover!

My Ride: 530i Touring, M Sport, build date 10/05, Silver Grey, Black leather, Maple Anthracite, Anthracite roof lining, panorama roof, M Aerodynamic, M Steering wheel, M Sport suspension, sport seats, shadow line, 135 M wheels, Goodyear NCT 5 runflats, and some other stuff too.

Result was a dissapointing 4/5, which is below most other prestige cars and in fact most quality sedans. Only one star for pedestrian safety too. BMW needs to lift its game. Interestingly the Citroen C6 is the highest overall scorer in the NCAP tests.

On a previous test it was only 3/5. So, if you have an early E60 you only have 3/5.
