I always knew the satellites had street level capability, even though "the man" kept telling us they didn't. I guess this is good if you are a cop sitting at the desk at the station. You can keep an eye on things.

The street view images are not from the satellites, they're from a vehicle that drives down each street and continually photographs images in 360 degrees while it's in motion. The vehicle is also equipped with a computer that ties the images to a GPS mapping system so things are automatically linked together, etc.

I know, they look stealthy.

I think that may be an early prototype vehicle or something. Nowadays, it looks like they just use a regular car with some stuff bolted onto a roof rack.

Take a look at the following image from my city to see the roof of the car...

What photo are you looking at that has a vehicle with Bull bars?

D110's are street legal as long as it's a 1993 model. D90's are street legal in 1994-1997 model years. Since 1997 there is a requirement for airbags and that's why they're not imported anymore. As a side note, I have seen good condition NAS 1993 D110's sell for $45,000 to $60,000 in the US! Not bad for a vehicle that sold for about $35,000 new in 1993.
