I have been out off the forum for some time during all the holiday excitement & was alerted to this thread by a message from Rudy.
This may be too late to be of help to 'E60sim' but here goes;
Palm Beach County: Take a canoe up the Loxahatchee River , you may even catch a glimse of a gator or manatee. Then there is lifestyles of the super rich and famous on display along A1A. Also you can't miss the beach.

Broward County: This Site is a litte too "chamber of commerce" but has some usefull links & info.
Don't miss Ft. Lauderdale's Las Olas Blv., lots of dining, entertainment & the Riverwalk is a great place to hang out, mingle & meet. Gulfstream Park is another great spot. Then of course, there are more Beaches

Dade County : Miami Beach/South Beach is the #1 place to be in the Miami Area, and is the one place where every day/night of the week has somthing do,see & experience. Then there are the women, nuff said. South Beach Mag. has some additional info. There is also Bayside downtown, CoacoWalk & Monty's in Coconut Crove, and Miracle Mile in Coral Gables.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Happy New Year, Phill

I agree with Phill that Monty's in Coconut Grove is a great place to hang out.

Also, if you do make it to Ft. Lauderadale and like Japanese Hibachi style food, you have to go to the Japanese Village Hibachi Steak House (350 East Las Olas Blvd., 954/525-8386). It's the best I've ever had, I think...

MiamiPhill:

Thanks for the great tips!

Untill now the trip has been amazing! We celebrated new years at Nikki Beach, and it was a very good night.

I'm staying at a friends house, which is just 5 min away from the Coconut Crove (walking), so we have been there a few times. I like the area

During the last 3 days, we have enjoyed South Beach, where the water is nice, the weather is good, and the women - wow!

I'll look into your suggestions during the next couple of days, since I've heard that the weather isn't gonna be that good, as when we got here, and untill now.

PS: There is many nice e60's around here in Miami

Happy New Year!
