Hey Guys,
I?m going to Chicago next weekend and I was hoping that some of you would chime in and give me recommendations for nice restaurants and something out of the ordinary to do. I will be meeting a lady friend and wanted to do something different and nice.
Thanks in advance!

I'm from Michigan, but visit there frequently.
Restaurant wise: There's tons of choice, depends on what you want.
Pizza- Pizzeria Uno or Giordanos
Steakhouse: Lawrys is something unique
Brunch-Toast (its on the north side)
Things to do:
Bars: Joe's on Weede St. (Just tell the cabbie to go to Joe's on Weede, funny as hell), Ghost Bar, Cullens (in Wrigleyville)
There's always Rush St. where there a ton of bars
Museums: The Art Museum is pretty good. The Museum of Science and Industry is also pretty cool, they have a German Submarine captured during WW2 you can go inside and take a look.
Then there's the rest of the 'touristy' stuff (John Hancock building, Sears Tower) and the shopping off Michigan Ave. (Watertower place mall).
Hope this helps. Members on this board from Chitown (vamvaka and howitzer) might be able to get you some other ideas.

If you want to eat pizza where the locals eat go to http://www.loumalnatis.com/
Amazing pizza!!!!!
My sister and her husband live in Indy and we go to Chicago whenever we can.
When you order you have to try the Lou or the Deluxe.
