Some clever lateral thinking from GM and Segway here. This looks awesome. First link to Gizmodo has an embedded video.

Wow, it makes Tata's car seem bulletproof, and yet it would probably cost even more!

GM should be concentrating on other things right now.... Like designing automobiles which can compete in world markets...
That thing is a death machine... Let's see what happens when it gets tee-boned at an intersection

yeah that is rediculous. when i walk into a GM dealer with $2500 bucks and say I want to lease that 36K truck, and they say it will be $1400 a month, then i walk into the BMW dealer and say I want to lease that $60K car, and they say, that will be $600, clearly GM has a HUGE problem with creating decent vehicles that hold a value. matter of fact, this is downright bullshit. They should be ashamed of themselves for even working on this project right now. almost as bad as chrysler taking out a thankyou add to the american people. I am a hard core patriotic american who loves my country, but even more then that i am a capitalist. If the US auto industry dries up, i say "serves them right for building pieces of shit" anyhow, they shouldnt be working on "neat projects"

Looks like the world's fastest scooter for the morbidly obese at Wal-Mart. Does it have an optional oxygen tank holder? Good to know our bail-out money is being so well spent. Maybe the CEOs should have shown up at the hearings driving those things instead of using Gulfstreams.

the problem with GM (and chrysler) are the designers and managers. I cant think of one car in any price segment that is anywhere in the top 3 cars id consider buying.
they announce this chevy volt (which is pretty much guaranteed to be a flop) in 2007...and they say they will build it in 2011!!!! meanwhile toyota and honda are just taking their customers left and right. its beyond belief how poorly that company is managed.
its too fat and bloated, they need to go chapter 11, reorganize and slim down a bit.
