Remember the story about using a mobile phone in petro station well here is a demo why not to use it.

I have try it and it works for my Ferrari Sharp phone.

Check this out

For the experriment you will need

1. x1 Pan
2. x3 Bits of card
3. x1 Roll of foil
4. x1 Mobile phone
5. A splash of Petrol/gas

The Mythbusters tried very hard to get an explosion... This Myth was BUSTED on their show!

That frying pan with the "dash" of petrol is exactly like filling up your car! Amazing!!

It seems to me that if you aim the microwave energy from the phone at the aluminum foil long enough, you might heat it up just enough to ignite the fuel that's coming in contact with it. Explain to me how this is like filling up your car?

well you need alot of foil to wrap around the car lol just kidding
some how this will never happen in a petro station. only at home.

make shore you do it out side and not in the house.

Yup I saw that. They jsut couldn't get the explosion to happen. Another question tho, this might be a stupid one but why do we have to turn our cars off when filling up?

You don't need to!

I have very often filled cars up while the engine is running.


Even F1 does it...
