dam, all this talk about DOS got me thinking how far we've come in just my little lifetime... and yet, we've fallen short of the predictions made during the 50s and 60s - 2001: A Space Odessey is more like 2100, or maybe 3001... if we make it that long... eehhhh... thanks for this thread, Michael

i used dos to type stuff and then print it on my dot matrix printer. i thought i was so cool because i was the first kid in my hood with a computer.
i also had MS flight simulator. it was on 1 (thats right, ONE) 3.5 floppy!
