Crashed my crf450r yesterday and fractured my left tibia. Guess I won't be driving the sled, bike, or 5 for a while - the clutch is going to be a challenge with a cast from toes to thigh

glad it wasn't anything else...could have been worse right?

a few weeks of immobilization and then you'll be back up and running in no time

Thanks guys. Got the verdict today. 6 weeks no weight bearing, however immobilization consists of only a knee brace. I figure I'll be able to drive the 5 in a week or two Turns out leg breaks are very not cool and I received the best one possible.

proximal or plateau fractures are the "better" ones to have as they usually have the least impact on ROM and strength...nice to hear it's just a brace, must not be a very serious Fx. distal/lower tibial fx's tend to need a boot or cast and cause a lot more loss of ROM post immobilization in the foot/ankle....

again, GL and hope everything heals well and fast
