I actually owned a pointer when I was a 6 year old kid -- for 12 hours.
My father brought it home as a surprise for me without having first cleared it with my mom. Mom told dad that either the dog or him had to go. Well, the dog went. And dad left mom about 6 months later. Moral of the story: never get rid of the dog.

Mine originally comes from when I used to play online games with my brother and friends of mine and we all had matching names ending in eckt for our clan. I liked the name so I used it for the forum I signed up on with my last car and have used it ever since.
