The first miner is on his way out...keep your fingers crossed that all of them make it out safely and quickly! He should be out in a few minutes...

Tonight reminds me of when they rescued the 9 Quecreek miners in Pennsylvania about 8 years ago. I remember the chills I felt as I watched the live feed. Tonight, I was fine until I saw that little boy cry tears of joy! Once I saw that, I was a wreck!

What's even cooler is the US dude who came down to help get the capsule hole drilled faster left Chile this morning since his work was done. Most people would have stayed a day longer to witness the rescue first hand but this guy decided to come home and watch it on television!
