My Ride: 520d
got my phone very easily at best buy this morning after having pre-ordered it. Just came back from the apple store to pick up a bumper... WHAT A NIGHTMARE. 2 huge lines outside, 2 huge lines inside. must be 1000 plus people, and they all smell from standing outside for god knows how long. I was able to get in and out with my bumper in 3 minutes.
The phone is incredible. The screen resolution is unmatched by any handheld device I have seen. the retna display is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. The phone is beautiful with its glass front and back w/ aluminum trim on the side (which i was hesitant to cover up with the bumper). The OS and apps are lightning fast and although i knew it has both a rear and front facing camera, i was still in awe when i hit the little flip button on the screen and it changed to the camera facing me... but im a nerd.
I took some pics of the lines at the apple store which I will post later. I am anxious to see how the pics came out.
Something funny.... In the apple store, there was some lady buying a macbook and she says to a sales rep "all of this chaos is for a phone?" and the rep replys... "ma'am... It is so much more then just a phone".
He is right. I am not an apple fanboy, but I am starting to see the "apple culture" that exists and I am starting to understand it. And for those of you who think that is silly... You should probably not speding your time on a BMW forum.

I am about to punch a wall. Got mine in the mail today......Mac says I need new iTunes update....k no problem.....downloaded new update......next message, OS out of date...need new software upgrade...fuhhhhhhhhhhh.........guess I will spend tomorrow installing a new operating system....... :thumbsdown:
