First full lunar eclipse in 456 years!

Its supposed to be visible around 3AM eastern time. Pretty cool last time the full lunar eclipse occurred was 456 years ago

"A total lunar eclipse occurs when the moon completely passes behind the earth so that the earth blocks the sun?s rays from striking the moon. As a result the moon is cast in spectacular shades of red and orange.
The eclipse will start just after midnight, with the total eclipse occuring at 3:17 a.m., finishing at 5:30 a.m., when the moon reappears."

I tried taking a pic with my iPhone but pah-lease - you can see, like, a little tiny-ass dot on a big black screen. That's about it.

The moon looked so sick with the ring around it..took a picture but like V's experience my droid camera made it look like garbage. I was up until 3 then the clouds came WTF? F it decided to sleep 
.
