A-10 30mm rounds use DU shell casings.? As of now there is no problem handling the shells.? 30mm is frickin big so I doubt that is what is being used.? I haven't seen the videos yet.? ). Thats what I reckoned, a stable platform (than a chopper) required to fire something like a 30mm. The recoil from the chain gun on full power, I would have thought, might have been too much for a helicoptor.
