You guys think the wife would get upset if I took the flood insurance check and bought an M5?

Heck no, ksc. After all, it was in sickness and in health, wasn't it. When it comes to Bimmers, it's hard to tell the diff.

Good point JDN! In fact after we pay off the mortgage, we'll have enough for 2 M5's. Of course we'd have to live in them and that could get cramped with the kids...

Anything new re: rebuilding vs being stuck with an expensive bare lot? I remember you were saying you didn't think you could get insurance before.

Well, we won't repair it, maybe someone else will. We will try to sell the lot and what is left of the structure, now whether it is "expensive" or not is yet to be determined. It was expensive before the storm, no telling what it's worth now...
