i saw that last night... ive been to that track many times... and the way they had itset up was risky to begin with especially with amature drivers...such a sad sight.. i know the owner must of been pissed.ericd

My Ride: 2004 Black BMW 525i
I'm kinda thinkin' it was a publicity stunt for the movie, and a good one at that. The owner was on the news and didn't seem a bit upset. He probably has stock in the movie(Redline) or has enough money to buy a small country. Anyway, it kinda reminded me of that Ferrari Enzo wreck on the Pacific Coast Highway a year or two ago.

Here is a collection of some comments from the internet related to the crashed Enzo. Feel free to add to the list.
1. So how many Enzos are left yet to crash?????
2. I think there is a guy who owns an Enzo that is hiring a mob guy to somehow cause crashes one way or another. This in turn increases the value of all other Enzos in existence.
3. Now that means that with the rate it is going there will be no Enzos left by 2009.........
4. We should have a charity to save the "Ferrari Enzo" breed
or they will be extinct in the near future.
5. Can we get someone at the NHTSA to crunch the numbers and tell us if the Enzo is now the most accident prone car produced.
6. Still worth more than my house.
7. I know I would crash my Enzo if I had one. It's the thing to do.
8. With each and every crash, I'm really glad I ordered that Jalopnik "Save the Enzos" t-shirt. Now if the USPS would just get the darn thing to me.
9. Forget the whales... Save the Enzos!
10. Are people crashing more exotic sport cars, or is the media simply covering exotic car crashes more frequently?
11. Maybe Ferrari should consider offering a DRIVING SCHOOL for their buyers???
11. Damaging a Ferrari Enzo like this should be a considered a crime against humanity.
12. If they were made by Ford, they would be declared unsafe and juries would subsequently award millions of dollars in damages.
